Senior Sales Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Sales Analyst to support our physical film distribution business, including DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K formats. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities with ease, and consistently delivers high-quality work under tight deadlines. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Production, and external partners to drive insights, build new release timelines, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Exemption Status: Exempt
Pay rate: $80k - $85k if annualized DOE

Work Location: We offer a flexible, hybrid setting where employees work both from home and onsite in West LA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage all physical sales new releases from initial setup through their release date, serving as the sole owner of the process and ensuring every step is completed accurately and on time

  • Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance across physical distribution channels (DVD/Blu-ray/4K)

  • Build and maintain dashboards, and KPI reports for internal stakeholders and retail partners

  • Develop accurate renewal forecasts and demand plans using historical and comp data, market trends, and retailer performance

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for title launches, promotional campaigns, and retail programs

  • Coordinate with Marketing to evaluate upcoming new releases

  • Partner with Finance on revenue projections, and invoice submissions

  • Build and manage automated reporting tools using advanced Excel functions, macros, and XLOOKUPs

  • Streamline data workflows and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

  • Maintain data integrity across multiple systems and sources

  • Prepare presentations for internal leadership and external partners


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field

  • 4–7 years of experience in sales analysis, business analytics, or revenue planning (entertainment or consumer products preferred)

  • Expert-level Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables, Power Query, and VBA/macros

  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to meet hard deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is a plus

  • Familiarity with physical film distribution, retail sales cycles, or entertainment industry workflows is highly desirable
