Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the media and entertainment industry. This role will be critical in driving financial strategy, providing insights, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Exemption Status: Exempt
Salary: $100K – $145K if annualized DOE
Paid Time Off: Holidays & Year End Holiday Break, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Personal Days

Work Location: We offer a flexible, hybrid setting where employees work both from home and onsite in West LA. Must be local to the LA area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the FP&A process in developing and implementing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and profitability.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.
- Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the media and entertainment industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools.
- Familiarity with the Oracle family of financial and accounting systems a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
