Issues with my car

Back in March, I got in a little accident, and now this past week I was finally able to get my car into the shop for it's repairs. Ok, so forget the fact that I had to wait 6 weeks to get it fixed. I had to have my dad drop the car off early since we had to leave town for a few days for a funeral. We got back and the car was supposed to be done a few days later. No problem, I'll just have to rent a car for a few days, like I originally anticipated. They had made arrangements for me to just rent a car from Enterprise and there would be no issues. They would take care of everything for me. Well, when we got back in town, the only place that was open was New Holland Toyota (where my dad works), so I had to drive up there to rent a Ford Escape (yuck!). Whatever.

I got a call on the day that the car was supposed to be done, only to learn that they had ordered a mirror for the wrong side of my car and it would take a few days to get a new one in and paint it. They told me it would be Monday or Tuesday until it was done. So I made arrangements with York VW to have my car inspected on Wednesday and have all the other things done to it that it needed, like it's oil, and a replacement hub-cap which I lost sometime. The mirror didn't make it in on time, so the garage had to call and reschedule my inspection and other appointments for Thursday. Great, I'm stuck with a rental for another day. Now I learn that I forgot to put the registration card in the VW, so they can't even do the inspection today! Now I have to take out the registration card tonite, have them inspect it tomorrow, and then pick it up on Saturday morning, a whole week later than I should be!

I'll be very happy to have my car back and happy to be done with this run around.

Hey with MT3, the little javascript buttons that make your links and bolds and italics for you actually SHOW UP with firefox. :) Too bad that by the looks of beta testing, it's going to be a while before it's ready for public release. ;)
