Stupid people piss me off!! I wasted 2 hours of my morning waiting for the builder of our house to show up to finish work that was supposed to be done 6 months ago only to find out that they weren't coming. A simple phone call would have been nice! We are waiting for them to replace a door knob, replace a kitchen cabinet and finish painting. Someone was supposed to be there this morning between 7:30 and 8:00. I ended up calling them at 8:30 asking where the person was. I was told that they would check on it and get back to me. So I waited... I again had to call at 9:10 to find out why I hadn't heard from anyone.. Turns out, the guy who was supposed to come had to take his wife to the doctor. Ok.. Fine... But call.. don't make me call there 2 times to figure this out. It just seems that every time they are supposed to come out and finish things, there is somethign that "happens" to impede their progress... Although it's amazing how letters from a lawyer have made them respond promptly in the past.
So now my mother-in-law is writing a letter to the editor of the paper bashing the idiots at the builder. Yay for her! Unfortunately, my wife can't since she is a "court appointed official" and isn't allowed to have an opinion... (i thought this was a democracy...)
Anyway, just my $.02... And if you plan on building a house in the Susquehanna Valley area of PA, email me and I will let you know which builder not to use.
